Hi, I'm new! :-)

Hello RRU! Welcome to my little introductory post! I've been popping in and out on this site for almost a year now, reading through some posts from time to time, but have been too scared to ever interact or make an account... (It's even taking me some time to gather myself enough to make a post here, haha...). But I really would like to get to know people on RRU, I'm sure everyone is very nice and I'm just nervous for silly reasons :'-) Maybe some small facts about me? I really love Lego space sets, I think Exploriens are one of my favorite factions... Lego Racers was my very first computer game, I used to spend hours playing it still do sometimes haha :'-) In my spare time, I really love to garden and draw! I'm not sure what more to say, other than I am very excited to be here and meet new people! So, hello everyone!7 points -

Welcome. It appears that you have unfortunately been drawn into Lord merCy's trap like many thousands of other members before you. A trap which lures people onto the site in search of freeing information, and eventually leads them to start posting. You have crossed this threshold. There is no return. Lord merCy and his maveriC have you in their grasp now. Your energy crystals are being slowly sapped away by these fiends as we speak. There is no hope. Goodbye.3 points -
Mega Music Blog: Trials, Calm, Epic, Guitarmony
Wognif and one other reacted to Drill Master for a blog entry
Okay, so since RRU was under the new update, I was unable to post blogs for my last three tracks, so this is a Mega Music Blog that has Trials, Calm, Epic, and today's latest track, Guitarmony, which is a clone of my 4 Piano Melody from way back in which there are four steel guitar tracks combined. I hope you like it! Trials Calm Epic Guitarmony And again, HUGE thanks to our own Fushigisaur for that awesome art!2 points -

Ben24x7 doesn't approve, your arm must be broken Ayliffe's magical hoovering adventures Lesser known (and rather silly) reasons why messing with a dragon is a BAD idea [Insert joke about Michael Rosan here]2 points -

Welcome to the kingdom of RRU. The land of modding old LEGO games such as LEGO Racers. I was nervous upon joining as well. Everyone is very nice, especially if you get on their good side, and a lot of the time a lot of us act silly. Oh hey, another artist has appeared! You'll fit in nicely, as some of us, (namely Fushigisaur, Ben24x7, Someswedish, Ayliffe, EvaRocket, and I) also love to draw.2 points -

Mega Music Blog: Trials, Calm, Epic, Guitarmony
Drill Master reacted to Seaborgium for a blog entry
I loved "Calm". It was beautiful. It might just be the best thing you've done. "Trials" and "Epic" were both good. "Guitarmony" felt as if it was not reaching its full potential, not because you did not achieve harmony with the guitars(which is quite impressive) but because the melody felt overly repetitive. Still, I'd like to see you experiment with guitars more. On the whole, great job.1 point -

spacepals reacted to Ben24x7 for a topic
Well, theres no need to be nervous, though I can understand that feeling, that feeling where you are unsure if you'd be accepted and instead left out like a fish-bone, but trust us, some (including me) do act a bit stupid and immature occasionally, but that doe-- ...Wait, what does insanity have to do with my point? I don't know... ...eh, probably not important. So, welcome to RRU, hopefully your stay will last longer than JamesBrick's visi-- *Kicked from RRU momentarily for making up such a stupid reference that members of RRU who have been around for about half a year would get*1 point -

On Obtaining Copious Quantities Of Elastic Bands For MOCs
Lind Whisperer reacted to aidenpons for a topic
Well, what'd you think this is? An advertising campaign for the Jeep? (Mind you, the title does sound a little bit like a spambot. If anybody wants to parody this, go ahead. ) Ever wanted to get some elastic bands to make a ballista, or even to give your Muaka a little more oopmh? But you've only got three left.... and it would be such a shame to waste those... Well, turns out you can get copious quantities extremely cheaply. You go the saddlery. What's that you ask? "Horse item shop" I say. "WHAT?" you screech? '' I say. (Say? ) I'm not quite sure why (having never had a like for horses), but I think they're used to hold the horse's mane back so it doesn't get in the rider's face... or something. Whatever it is, they come in the hundreds (literally) and are extremely cheap. Now yes, a cheap and common item generally does not also have the tag "quality." That's perfectly fine though: you're only putting elastic bands on a small Lego set. They do break and fray, and far more easily than Lego's bands do, but they work. Quite well too, and they don't lose any of their power until they snap. Plus, since you have copious quantities (yes, my objective is to say "copious quantities" as many times as possible here ) you can always stack large amounts copious quantities on them. And if they snap after a week or so (I find they last for as much as three months?), you can put more on. Plenty more copious quantities of fish in the sea! I've found the bag to break sooner than all the bands are used up, as you get copious quantities for less than 5NZD and the bag is not extremely good quality. So what? Just stuff them in another bag. There is a drawback, and it's that the elastic bands have 1cm diameter. I haven't found something with more (like for the Bohrok), but this works perfectly well for everything else, and MOCs. 1cm is perfectly usable anyway. (I wasn't quite sure where to post this, but I figured here would be the best. And if it's common knowledge, so what, but I didn't find this out easily )1 point
