I've been installing all my old LEGO games on my new PC and, somewhat ironically given its age, LEGO Island is the first I've gotten to work. I haven't played this game since I was younger than whatever age Pepper is meant to be, so I was thrilled to indulge in nostalgia. I don't remember this happening though? I just clicked on the jukebox and played a song.

    Windows 10 issues galore

Since there seems to be multiple answers across various topics, you'd think we'd have mega Rock Raiders vs. AMD topic. I think that would be quite handy as AMD is a hit problem, and there are quite a few different solutions that does and does not work for everyone, and not all users have all the solutions memorized and want to repeatedly type out the one they know for the 20th time. For the future I have uploaded both drivers here: 32-bit: http://www.mediafire.com/download/j7t6ofmd633cqy6/13-1_vista_win7_win8_32_dd_ccc_whql.zip 64-bit: http://www.mediafire.com/download/04f5xmpp9lz2gip/13-1_vista_win7_win8_64_dd_ccc_whql.zip Although they don't say Win10 because it didn't exist back then, I can verify it still works.

Well that's just plain stupid. Probably the worst solution, but does HAL work with NO drivers installed at all? I recall when that solution was first introduced I uninstalled the current drivers without reinstalling any drivers and it worked as well.

    Hello all~

Alright, who hacked my system? They are not supposed to be magnetic... yet. Hi, and welcome to RRU! I'm le717, owner of floor 717 Wognif spoke of. Nice to have another modder on here! The post editor is just the worst on mobile...

Help "extracting" the music from LI2?

Here it is, the DX9 version: http://www.mediafire.com/download/583d4dz7qh1t6y7/ Change the dropdown that says "Standard Stereo & Reverb" to "Standard Stereo" to hear the files as they are in LI2. Ok, so to get the files in there, I created a new project then imported (File > Insert Files into Project...) all the files in one folder (e.g: Everything inside _data/sounds/DirectMusic/z02LGI). Select one of the .sgp files in the dropdown at the very top then press the play button to hear it. As for making the MIDI, I still don't remember... EDIT: AHA! I found the MIDI export thing! In the same toolbar as the "Standard Stereo" dropdown, click the "..." button at the very end to set the MIDI's file name and location. Then click the button next to it to start the export, click again to stop. It will only export while the tune is playing.

    Hello all~

Welcome to RRU. ....Ah, it seems you will have a most interesting time here. The community welcomes more modders, yes. Beware of the slimy slugs, the experimental magnetic triangles on floor 717, and try to not step on the experimental green-red-bricks-that-should've-already-been-taken-out-of-development-due-to-functioning-properly.

    GeoTool

Surprise update! I dropped this for a while when one of the graphics libraries I use for it stopped working. But now I need a break from my other project, and I've learned a lot since last year, so it was a good time to finally get this update taken care of. Here it is, GeoTool Alpha 2. I meant to just go straight to beta once all the new features were done, but there was a pretty terrible bug in Alpha 1 that I missed. I was enabling OpenGL3's 'forward compatibility mode', which made it incompatible with its own shaders. Not sure how it even worked at all for some of us. But I turned that off and also updated the shaders to GL3, so hopefully no more shader problems now (as long as you don't have a really old video card). GeoTool can finally edit maps now, not just view them. An old GIF of terrain editing (I don't have video recording software on Windows, sorry): Not everything is finished yet in this version, but it can edit and save SURF and HIGH maps. Let me know if you find more bugs -- there's probably plenty of them. I'll update the main post tomorrow(ish).
