LIKE ALL YOU NEED TO DO IS CHANGE ONE ATTRIBUTE NEAR THE TOP OF THE LXFML FILE THEN OPEN THE LXFML FILE AND THEN MOVE THE BRICK MENU A TEENY TINY BIT AND THEN EVERYTHING WILL BE HUNKY-DORY. LIKE I WAS RAIDING THE .LIF FILES, SMASHING THROUGH OPENGL SHADERS AND INJECTING MY OWN PERSPECTIVE MATRICIES WHILE ALL I HAD TO IN FACT DO WAS CHANGE A TINY THING IN THE LXFML FILE AND THEN WIGGLE A BIT. LIKE I'VE KNOWN THAT THE FOV ATTRIBUTE IN THE .LXFML FILE WAS THERE FOR YEARS, BUT I HAD IT WRITTEN OFF AS USELESS AND APPARENTLY RELATED TO THE SCREENSHOT PREVIEW IMAGE IN .LXF FILES. LIKE I HAD SPENT TWO YEARS HAVING TO FORCE LDD INTO A TINY NARROW WINDOW TO PREVENT MY EYEBALLS FROM EJECTING OUT OF THEIR SOCKETS. WELL NOW I CAN GET ON WITH MY LIFE, FIND A JOB, BUILD MY CAREER IN GAME DESIGN, AND DIE HAPPY AND SURROUNDED BY GAMING PERIPHERALS.6 points

http://brickset.com/article/18789/rip-ldd You know how they kind of said a 2015 update would come eventually? It's not coming1 point -

Bbqqq seemed to be afraid of the trick becoming known or popular, being interpreted as a bug, patched out, and rendered useless in future versions of LDD. Since LDD was announced to have no more updates, there's nothing to fear anymore for Bbqqq. Edit: Apparently that's not the case at all so... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯1 point -

Looks like one of the TLG Ambassadors saw everyone running around like headless chickens and issued an additional statement to try and calm us down. Unfortunately it's really bloody vague and I don't know what to make of it: So... they're gonna add elements, but not add elements? Um?1 point -

So the options were a new(er) official LEGO CAD design program with mostly new parts and an older fan-made LEGO CAD design program with mostly old parts but still missing many old parts (where are the Rock Raider Rollcages, huh?). And now the options are a dead official LEGO CAD design program with mostly new (but soon to be outdated) parts and an older fan-made LEGO CAD design program with mostly old parts but still missing many old parts. Should I find it funny that its the Fan-made version is the one that still thrives, despite its not-so-user-friendly interface and controls?1 point -

I guess the final boss has been defeated at last But now to be serious: I'm quite disappointed. I didn't care much for LDD in its early days, but it really improved once the LU/Extended theme was introduced. Since I'm too impatient to work with any of the CAD programs, LDD was the only tool I could use to plan creations in advance. Before this news came, I was hoping for a while that a future update would include more classic parts and colors1 point -

Damn... and LDraw isn't really an alternative because the interfaces for the programs that use it are ridiculous, not to mention its brick database is heavily dated (much more so than LDD).1 point -

Uh oh, Alcom's gonna be coming with his Frame-of-View (I think?) rants.... I'd better get out of here before much happens. I can't say I'll miss it. I never tended to build much in LDD, but that's largely because I have such a stash of Lego bricks and I find it easier to build with real bits of plastic. How's this gonna work with the LDD -> LW (and vice versa) feature?1 point -

LEGO Nexo Knights
Lind Whisperer reacted to Ayliffe for a topic
After also watching episode 3, I'm kinda in agreement with what Pereki said. Although most of the characters are slowly developing personalities, the knights themselves still seem like pretty bland characters that could be summed up with a couple of words each. Heck, I feel like doing that now so here we go: Clay: The "oh I'm literally perfect at everything gee I'm so great" one, winner of most boring character 2016. Macy: Literally Nya's character copy+pasted over to here, but with the sister thing replaced with royalty stuff. Probably explains why she's the 2nd most decent knight character-wise. Axl: Food jokes, food jokes everywhere. Literally has no character otherwise. Next! Aaron: The worst of Sonic's "too kool for skool" attitude combined with a hippie. Probably my least favourite due to the former. Lance: They tried to give him the most unlikeable personality by making him rich and such, but in turn they accidentally gave him more personality in general, somehow making him a bit of a better character in general and my favourite knight. Other than that, the other characters are slowly getting there character-wise. Jestro and the Book's dialogue is still the highlight of the show writing-wise, and I can see the show leaning towards a self-contained plot per episode outline instead of Ninjago's current story-heavy format. Either way, I'll keep watching it for the moment to see if there's any improvement. Oh yeah, and the minifigures themselves are actually surprisingly nice to photograph, so I did this:1 point -
