The latest Club magazine is now up online, and there's a one-page BIONICLE comic in it. However, this time it's in a very familiar art style... The webisodes may not be totally dead yet, folks.

Thought someone else would have picked this up. Huh. Minor bug fix patch released today. Drillex animations added [I'm surprised this managed to slip through the main update] Resolved a problem that caused split-screen to become disabled if players backed out to the “Press Start” screen whilst in Split-Screen Fully disabled Dynamic Split-Screen mode (This will correct any affected save files) Resolved a problem with Save Game serialization that was affecting user settings (This would result in all user preference settings (Terrain, etc.) from being different to what was selected) Also a user reported that the "transparent brick glitch" was fixed. Not sure what this was, though. It could be related to a bug with transparent bricks being completely invisible underwater. Surprisingly, no reports of the update breaking the game - expect for this person with a report that's been coming up since update 3 and is likely something else causing it.

In the "So that's how that works" vein, I discovered Blender Paths. And thus I made a trial project. Only problem was that Blender's animation engine...well, it's not the simplest thing to get to put out a .avi. So...I ended up rendering all the images, then porting them into Monkey Jam, then fiddling with the sounds, since Monkey Jam was only allowing me a single track, then waiting for the thing to upload... But, yeah...

I definitely wouldn't worry about that - the excessive amount of media sources that made BIONICLE such a bloated mess before is actually something they are making conscious decisions to avoid this time around. The only things that are integral to G2's story are the webisodes for 2015, and the Netflix series for 2016. Anything else out there is purely and truly (not just in name) supplemental material for die-hard fans. And the idea of more webisodes this year is just that, an idea (that probably isn't true). Even if it were to happen, I can almost guarantee they would be incidental and unimportant to the core plot.

Quick run-through checklist: 1) Run as admin? 2) Compatibility for as far back as you can go? 3) Run windowed? 4) No AMD card? 5) Take the CD out of your CD drive and run that way if you can / disable videos - if you know how to do that, great, if you don't just reply & I'll explain
