For some reason, when I spawn buildings and throw them into the ocean they end up on the race track disassembled. Is it the way they're supposed to behave?3 points -

LRR Map Expander (New language, new GUI)
MrBeingcool reacted to Alcom Isst for a topic
Over 2 years ago, I developed and released a little command line app in C for increasing the size of LRR map files. A year later, I worked on a version of the software written in C#, but didn't complete it. Now, as I practice stuff during my vacation time, I've decided to complete it and release it. The software is again designed to increase the original size of LRR map files, both .map and .ol components. Release Instructions Drag all map files into the executable, select your settings, hit the big shiny expand button, and receive the expanded files in the resulting output folder. Features Ability to handle all .map files and the .ol file if they have the same names as files exported by Map Creator v0.9.10 Ability to increase the width and height of the maps by separate values Height Match, a feature ensuring that the map expansions have height values that align with the original height map. GUI with user inputs, expand button, and log.1 point -

Aw man, those japanese commercials are great, the little bits of stop motion in there really add a lot. Having the stories from the comics and audio dramas told in that format would be awesome. Though, we did get this, which is pretty cool: (The story starts at 30 seconds in)1 point -

Hello everyone, Well it's been over a year since I last posted here however I've finally finished my B-25 I've been working on for just over a year and a half. It's had several major rebuilds of certain sections since the WIP topic I posted but It's finally at a point where I can call it finished and start on something else. Some basic info first, It's wingspan is roughly 3ft (around 92cm), Fuselage length is about 2ft 6in (around 76cm), It has a XL motor for each engine. so that makes two, It has two M motors powering the landing gear and it also has working flaps, ailerons, rudders and elevators (All controlled though the control column and gear wheel in the cockpit.). The top turret can rotate 360 degrees as well. As you may notice in the pictures below I ended up not being able to fit the battery box into the actual model as there just wasn't enough room for it, As it turned out though it came in handy as one of the annoying flaws with this model is it won't actually sit on it's landing gear, It just falls backwards so the battery box was just the right hight to prop it up. I spent a long time thinking about the problem but couldn't come up with a solution for this particular model so it's just something I'll have to keep in mind for future aircraft with tricycle landing gear. Anyway, on with the pictures. More pictures can be found on brickshelf here: (once it's public) http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=563243 And on google photos here: https://goo.gl/photos/JHBLxofc9MjLfL9X8 Finally a video of it: Hope you all like it and thanks for reading/looking.1 point -

Thanks. Well the blades are already tilted to about the right angle and when I ran the engines the landing gear was down (although it was sat on the battery box) but even at the speed they can go at it's way to heavy for simple brick built blades to move it. Yeah I'm trying to stick with better colour schemes these days. Thanks. Thanks.1 point -

I never really thought about it before, but man an entire series done like this plus some stopmotion would have been absurdly fun. like, this or this or any of the things you linked but for 22 minutes. I guess that's almost what the LEGO movie is, in its own way. probably the closest thing we'll ever get.1 point -

Just wondering, is there any demand for a Linux build? I'm going to build v0.9 for Windows and Mac, and can probably do Linux too if there's a demand. I don't currently have Linux on any of my machines so I can't test it just yet, though. Edit: Ok so as of right now, I don't know if I'm going to be able to get a Mac build working for v0.9. Unity 5.3 has some issues that cause the Mac client not to work and also causes the crash that @Ben24x7 had on Windows regarding thread access. Until I'm able to update Unity (might be a few days), I don't think I'll be able to resolve either of those issues.1 point -

Couldn't resist using the spawn too much command as many times as my computer could allow. (It could barely handle past 5 times haha.) Also, I love that the sky color is saved upon exiting.1 point -
Garage Search = LEGO game I never knew I had
spacepals reacted to Drill Master for a topic
So I was searching boxes in my garage, and I found a box of old PC games. I found all my old kid games like Putt Putt, Pajama Sam, I Spy, Tonka, etc. Then I noticed something. 3 little disks in the bottom of the box. I pulled them out and to my amazement, these were found. On the left: LEGO Soft Ware Demo CD In the middle: Bricks ( I KNEW I HAD THIS SOMEWHERE! ) And on the right: LEGO Alpha Team (Which I didn't even know I had.) So I don't remember what the demo was, if someone else could inform me about it? There you have it. Random Garage search = Awesome!1 point -

ISLAND 2.0 - A Lego Island Inspired Music Album
Snig reacted to Druaga for a topic
Hey guys, I haven't posted on this site before, so hopefully it's appropriate for me to post this here. https://druaga.bandc...album/island-20 The middle of last year, I released my album, ISLAND 2.0 on Bandcamp. It's free for anyone to download (just click "Buy Now" and enter $0 to download for free or just listen to it in your browser.) My original goal was to have every track have something to do with Lego Island in some way. This is the result of that endeavor. If you're a fan of trance, electro, synthpop, house or just electronic music in general, then this might interest you. Here is a list of the tracks with the parts of the game they were inspired by: 1. Intro - Uses the bassline from a short sound clip from Lego Loco (yeah that one), not exactly Lego Island, but it's only 30 seconds long and still somewhat Lego related. 2. Dial 'i' For Insanity - Infomaniac/Information Center music. 3. Closed For Remodeling - The Super 2 never re-opened, and we're not sure why. 4. Gnarly, Dude! - Snap Lockitt/Beach Music 5. The Best Park Ever - Lego Island's Park/Park Music. The park is so bland and uninteresting (save for the Legandos) So I made it into a crazy house track (possibly channeled from the minds of the Legandos themselves). 6. KEEP OFF THE GRASS! - You can't walk on the grass. Many share my frustration. 7. ARPANET - This track isn't really related to Lego Island, but still pretty cool. I could see it being inspired by the final helicopter music or something. 8. Hidden Machine - This track isn't really related to Lego Island either, but I could see it being a combination of the cave music and hospital themes. 9. World's Fastest ATV - Octan Gas Station Music/The ATV/Quad/Jeep/ Truck Vehicle or whatever it's called. This song specifically points to the vehicle driving all over the island by itself when you jump out at high speeds and the subsequent wonderment, mystery and, at times, even fear after witnessing such a spectacle. 10. PIZAZ - Need I say more? 11 . Terminal Velocity - This one is actually inspired by the Lego Island 2 skydiving levels. There was work being done on a hospital and police station track, but they never came to fruition. Remember, these aren't remixes or covers of tracks in the game, they are just songs that popped into my head when I thought back to the game. I actually didn't listen to any of the music from the game itself while making this. Hopefully some Lego Fans out there can enjoy what I did here and I hope that this isn't out of place for being my first post or for this site in general. Have a good one, guys!1 point
