    Inside the Information Center

I noticed that when you load the infocenter in LI2, the camera is initially placed looking backwards from where it usually does. It corrects itself after a few frames, but this allows you to see what the rest of the building looks like inside: The PS1 version is actually a bit more detailed, with the Infomaniac working at a computer, and also allowing you to walk around freely. And of course, the inside of the building is detailed on the model loaded on the main island, too - most buildings are, actually, but you get to see the infocenter's interior up close in the cutscene where the Brickster escapes. Combined with the Whack-A-Bot minigame... Which one is the "real" one?

Rebuilt Rock Raiders Models + Other Errata

Can we talk about the docks? How do the two connected arms on top actually move around? It's not physically possible.. I've been working on a lot lately. Nothing I can talk about, though! But I decided to revisit the janky drill on the Chrome Crusher again. Also, studs. Edit: Also redid the Upgrade Station, since my original version was pretty much an original creation. I'm not sure how that happened, considering there are instructions on exactly how to make one in the RRHQ Lego set, but there you go. Edit: I updated the Tunnel Scout. It was pretty good, but now it's final. Interesting how many variations on this design are out there. And some tools: Edit: Redid this too. Edit: And this. The question is, use the game model or the Lego set? It's quite tall... Edit: Redid the tool store.

^ RRU in a nutshell I don't suppose I could convert you to Old-Tonguism? The current one is worse than those Aquashark images Aaron posted- no, I take that back.

    Piano Paint Music

I tried that when I first started playing with the piano paint. But I soon found out that's not the way these piano bricks work. Here's a video of me experimenting with the piano bricks. The piano notes just replace the normal step sound effects that play when walking on all the different biomes. Which means the sounds are based on the animations of characters. Every time a character takes a step for an animation (even the idle animation with the soccer ball) it plays a new sound.

    Low Framerate Glitches

Forcing LI2 to run at low framerates (in this case, 5 FPS) causes some weird stuff. 0:14 Clipping through the level geometry in the Skate Park. 0:51 Out of bounds in Mr Hates' Camp. 1:56 Animation bug(?). Not impossible to see without low framerates but definitely easier. 2:05 Out of bounds in Pepper's House. I've done this at normal framerates but it happens much more rarely. 2:58 The physics in Desert Speedster totally freaking out - flying across the level and eventually exiting the skybox. 4:58 Getting into the cut desert tomb area simply by clipping through the wall. Also, some screenshots of things I didn't get video of. In the Brickster's Palace, it lets you fall for long enough to let you briefly land on the rest of the tower below: Also makes it very easy to get out of bounds in, say, Dino Park: (This is already known, but the islanders don't have dialogue if you get past the gate early) ALSO: It wasn't until now that I noticed you can zoom in on the map in Pepper's house by pressing shift next to it, even though there's no prompt. AAAAALSO Valerie doesn't have hair in the Skate Park, and there's a few developer characters(?) I hadn't really noticed before. AAAAAAAAALSO got a screenshot of Boney Hawks/Gnarly Bones - check out this audio file, _data\sounds\z01BPK\boney_SMACK.wav. Maybe he was gonna have more of a role than just standing there? http://vocaroo.com/i/s0u6e4AUACag
