Its purpose is no different from the PC version, but the room actually looks better IMO. I also believe that the photo of Mac and Sandy Roni (Pepper's Grandparents) only appears in this version.

Since there was only a GBA map of LEGO Island already on the internet, I decided to piece segments together and create full-scale maps of the other locations. OGEL Island: Castle Island (credit to @Xiron for providing me a hacked save state) Space Port: Adventurers Island (not explorable, but this is displayed in between the minigames)

Seeing as we have a massive topic to dump amusing quotes in, I thought it might be cool if we had a topic to dump awesome LEGO stuff in - like, things people have posted on other sites, whether it's individual models, dioramas, 2D or 3D art, or animations. Anything LEGO related you find inspirational. I wouldn't go about posting your own stuff, though, we have a subforum for that - just stuff other people have made. Here's a little something to kick it off.

8469_METAL.PC TEXTURE. Can be found in GAME DATA\GRAPHICS\CARS\TEXTURES\TECHNIC OFF ROAD\COLOUR_1, and GAME DATA\GRAPHICS\CARS\TEXTURES\CHASSIS too (along with a couple other metal textures, PI_ATDTD2_3_METAL.PC TEXTURE and PI_ATDTD2_5_METAL.PC TEXTURE, which are partial textures for The Behemoth dragster (they cover only parts of the vehicle, while in the final textures the whole vehicle just uses one texture).

There's tons of neat LEGO stuff in this gallery. It's kind of an unusual ship. The build was inspired by the Nebuchadnezzar from the Matrix movies.

There are quite a few things the PS version does that were definitely improvements. They're just, you know, held back by the awful optimization for the platform.

I go away for 24 hours and you have created this mind-blowing assortment of... well... LEGO Awesomeness. Somebody has no clue how most medieval weapons worked, with the exception of the crossbow, which was designed to be simple so peasants could use it

Fortunately, one of the developers has posted the full map! Their flickr has some other neat LI-related images too! Ripping the Freeway Frenzy/Wave Catcher maps in the GBA Port of IXS would probably take an eternity, though.
