Originally I wanted to check, if I could improve my 1:16 L.M.S. Explorer MOC, but then I decided to make a micro version of the first level from LEGO Rock Raiders (the pc version). Here is the second miniature: Frozen Frenzy. I had to make some compromises (placement of the rock types etc.), but I think, that it turned out okay. Thank you, sheepandshepherd, for making GeoTool:

I had a quick look in a Reddit theme regarding the blog post linked earlier about "16 awful LEGO Sets", and someone brought up this; Plump-man and Blobbin.

I haxed a Time Twister into a dead MMO. More probably coming sometime later, ideas welcome. What am I doing with my life. Torso texture is from Return to Blockland something something, thanks to whoever did that. The rest is LU stuff. NifSkope for model tweaking (adding the hat to a minifigure model), Paint.net for texture editing. Injected into a beta version of the game's login screen (though if beta builds worked properly with the "private servers" you could in theory actually get this guy to appear in a world as a proper NPC, too - alternately, get past the live game's anti-hax system, which I don't have the patience for). Yeah I know the hat's a slightly different shade than the body but if LU devs could be that lazy with official character models/textures so can I. There's also some minor editing goofs in the screenshots. Don't quite care about that right now either. First person to ask "how u stil play LU" gets shot with a Rank 3 Inventor's beehive and then pissed on. Further questioning will just result in the pissing bit. Edit: Classic Johnny Thunder. RTB textures again.

I remember having this at one point, this was an awesome set since you could pair it with a Toa.

I found a photo of those babies in the wild (this one I think) and took solace in assuming that they were probably just missing their clothes because the collector who took the picture didn't have them. So thanks for shattering my only line of defense

I know I might have contributed by defending that castle set and LEGO Hockey, but I wouldn't say the topic isn't working out. It's cool to learn about sets like that lone red brick, or even that lazy castle set; it's just also interesting to hear if people found something good in them anyway. Take Pereki's voodoo head comment: it's a creative way to look at a generally-bad set that might not have been mentioned otherwise, and it also doesn't mean the Hockey sets can't be mocked regardless. I think if everyone just goes in with that mindframe, it can still be a fun topic. Also, how has nobody posted any of those BIONICLE promos yet?

This will be my last post since the topic doesn't seem to be working out. Who wants cola?

Also re: Aaron's post, some of those don't actually look so bad. I'd love to have a small set nowadays where you could get a chrome crown/sword, a horse, a decent enemy, and even some fairly-useful bricks for a castle wall. I mean, yes, it's embarrassing in terms of design, but it'd be a nice parts pack. As for the hockey guys, I never owned the ones you displayed, but I pick up 3557-3559 at a clearance, and they were honestly pretty fun. LEGO Hockey wasn't all bad.
