Many of us know Wes Jenkins for having been Creative Director, Writer, and Designer for the beloved 1997 LEGO PC game LEGO Island or LI1, which played a significant role in the childhoods of a myriad of children, inspiring creativity, imagination, play, fun, learning, etc, as well as spawning many of the humorous running-jokes based on some of the game's glitches and the like we enjoy in this community, most notably "Green-a-RedBrick/GreenRed Brick, you stay!" I've been friends with Wes for several years now on Facebook, and he's one of the most fantastic people I've ever had the pleasure of knowing, let alone being able to call my friend. He's brilliantly creative, imaginative, lighthearted, funny, silly, and an excellent artist! Most of all though he's very kindhearted, compassionate, loving, modest, and has this unwavering aptitude to make light of and poke fun at his predicaments, no matter the severity, all the while retaining a sense of seriousness. Wes inspires me a lot for all these reasons and more, and he's been consistently one of the biggest beacons of hope in my life that I can be an adult and conduct myself with maturity, seriousness, and professionalism, but still maintain and express a lot of childlike qualities, and still be very much a kid. Sadly since having to leave LEGO in 2000 or so, Wes has been burdened with a lot of health and financial troubles, on top of which he had to take care of his 91-year-old father with dementia for a while at one point until his father's passing a few years ago. Wes has been largely taken care of by his loving wife Kyle for many years since, meanwhile illustrating humorous drawings in his "Doodle-a-Day" series as a creative outlet and source of joy. Despite all the hardships that befell them, together they were able to make it through much of their troubles. However, now I'm very sad to say they're being evicted from their home, their medical insurance has run out, and they no longer have any credit. They have to move out of their home by the 18th-19th of this month and are in dire need of financial support to afford temporary housing, as time is running out and it's very much a life or death situation at this point. To this end Wes has set up a GoFundMe page. Please give them any amount of money you can spare in their time of need, and please share this and help get the word out as soon as you can. Wes has never asked for money before, and the fact he's doing so now is a very good indicator that the situation is quite serious. I love Wes dearly, and I'd really like for us all to be able to cherish this wonderful man's presence and creativity in the world for as many more years as possible, and even more for he and his wife Kyle to live with a better quality of life. I don't know how to help but I made a tweet about this with the hashtag #SaveWes. Apparently a somewhat popular guy did this as well:

lego island 2023 remake: the brickster steals papa's pizza van instead of the ambulance. mr. pollywanna sleeps around because his wife is dead and he's trying to fill the hole in his avian heart. captain click is elected mayor and everyone is happy with their undead leader. pepper is a furry. enter and return get fused with the ambulance in a horrific accident and now it's alive and constantly arguing with itself. the game ends with ogel island slamming into the earth and killing everyone.

Nothing against what he currently has, and I have no clue how GoFundMe descriptions normally look, but yeah, I wish more people could read what you wrote, because who knows how little it may take to sway someone. thanks for reminding me of this again like four years later honestly I'm a little curious about the ninjago movie sets, just because the movie seems to be different from what the theme usually does - maybe these sets will be too? idk. just curious. definitely won't be buying any because I hardly ever buy lego anymore but curious.

Hello fellow RRUers! I have found some information about some unreleased LEGO themes that had interesting ideas. This theme was called Mafia Gangsters: This theme was intended to be in the Gangster era in the 1930s. Besides it's culture and bad history, this theme was cancelled in early production. This final unreleased theme was called Europa: (Really original) This theme setting was in the 18th Century, featuring cannon-forts, towns, bridges and transportation. Possibility of including Witches, Bridge Trolls and also it is the time of Dracula. Alternatively the theme could include historically correct soldiers of the Scotch, Russian, Dutch armies etc. with ships, hot-air balloons and the like. This is also the colonial era. This theme was cancelled in late production. So yeah, let me know if this is quite interesting and have a great time reading this. Cheers.

Hola. Sky colours are hardcoded. The address are the same between the two known English versions. If you have a different game language the offsets are probably different. If that's the case I'm more than willing to help you on your way to finding the consistent differences for all address between here and your game version. For some strange reason, when changing the results I could scrape up for FF FF FF FF, none of the skys in the game changed with that value, and as for 00 00 00 00, there way I've tracked them down (XX XX XX XX 68 - 68 always comes after the value), there is way too many of that value appearance for me to count on 100 hands, and mass replacing causes a crash due to some sensitive areas getting replaced. What can you do with sky changing? Something like these.

Hi, Have you ever wanted to play simulator games, and look around without having to switch between mouselook and aiming? Well, with this handy guide you can make your own headtracking device! I've been thinking about this idea for a while, and finally I've come around to building and using a DIY Head Tracking "device". The device is a simple 3-point tracker, which software like FreeTrack uses to calculate the position and rotation of the head of the wearer. The LEDs must be in specific locations for the FreeTrack software to work. The LEDs MUST be installed in the same figure as mine. Small Schematic of LED placement: All that is needed outside of the Wiring, is a webcam with a low res. (800x600 is enough). I've made a schematic in paint, which shows how everything is connected, and which Resistors and LEDs should be used. Note: I'm using Red LEDs in the above picture, due to IR LEDs not being available in the shop near me at the moment.. The Schematic: I will not be writing a lengthy FreeTrack tutorial, as there are many, many of these on youtube.

Since I'm moving off to my college residence on Friday, I will need some decoration to liven up the place, which mostly consists of some of my more notable MOCs, such as the Pants Party, the Overweight Golem, and the impending Medieval Head Separator (don't ask). Inevitably in my studies, I will face tremendous mental and psychological stress due to academic pressure and social exposure. I have previously discussed Galidor in my graduation speech, which for some reason went entirely unchallenged by the staff and was surprisingly well received. You can read a transcript here. "only the best" is an anti-demotivational vignette, specially designed to combat sentiments of self-defeat and improve morale. Hence, whenever I find myself down, I can be assured that no matter how royally I screw up, it can't conceivably amount to anything worse than that abomination whose legacy still subtly taints the LEGO Brand: Galidor. Remember, kids, the only thing on this earth potentially worse than Galidor is bootleg Galidor.

they use the dino tail pieces for the blur when he rips his pants off honestly even if the writing somehow goes in the can starting with this one I'll still watch 'em all just for the animation. lovely stuff
