    Welcome to Sandy Bay

Where the grass is green, the beaches are clean, and there is always someone there to give you help. (making of time-lapse found here) Random Trivia & Facts: The map, and all the models seen in this video were just made and put into SFM this weekened. This also means that in the same timespan I made an animation. I had to 1/2 re-set up the town a second time because all the models were mirrored incorrectly the first time (by half I mean the doors and all the extra bits broke and I had rotate all models 180 degrees, the broke extras bit was easily fixed by doing a "import animation sequence" by replacing the old model sequence with one from a new one). I found out that it is possible to do the animating part of a 18 second animation in 2 hours if you are extremely determined and block out all distractions (not including additional extra touch-up details). The grass sprite went through a lot of overhauls before I found a decent one. I recorded myself making this, so expect a time lapse down the road. While I did plan to animate from the start of my recording, I didn't go through with my original animation idea. Once I started to animate, every bit of idea in the animation came to me bit by bit by just messing around with things. You will get to see this later.

    Rocket Racers

Messaged him today so we'll see how it goes. In the meantime, I thought I'd share some behind-the-scenes articles and images that I gathered during my absence: Cubic Design and Construction page on the construction of the iconic City helicopter atop the ride building (http://www.cubicdesign.biz/gallery/legoland/) Mural by John West (artist and designer, including theme park work) (http://www.johnwestartist.co.uk/portfolio/themeparks.html accessible via Wayback) Eye Design International pages on the scenic design of the ride (http://www.eyedream.co.uk/pages/themepages/legoland.html accessible via Wayback though two images have been permanently lost) Panasonic case study on the reworking of Rocket Racers for the 2009 season. This is a longer page and thus I won't quote it here (http://panasonic.net/prodisplays/casestudies/casino_03.html) A staff member's personal website which gives a brief insight into staff use of the ride, as well as a rare photo of the ride exterior as it appeared from 2003-2004 (http://www.hannahcollins.co.uk/beginning.htm accessible via Wayback) Several years ago, I also managed to get hold of a backpack that features the logo design shown here:

  4. Hello everyone! You may know me for reviewing several LEGO games on my show called 'Forgotten Games'. Now that I am done with my LEGO games marathon, I have completed a comedic review for what is most definitely, the strangest pool/billiards game ever created! It's the arcade exclusive known as 9 Ball Shootout! I'd like to know your thoughts on it, any feedback you have is appreciated. Thanks!

    HTML5 Rock Raiders Remake

You're absolutely right; these files can be found directly on the disk, no need to extract anything. Thanks! I can't believe I didn't think to check that from the start.

    HTML5 Rock Raiders Remake

Well, once I think I searched through my disk of LRR and found them hidden in a file, without having to "rip" them out. I don't have the game installed, so I can't check, but I swear its there (but beware that it might only be on the version of LRR that I have).

Why is the captain's arm blue?

Yeah, minifigures didn't start getting arm printing until some time later. I might be wrong, but I think the first one with arm printing was Greedo in 2004. Oh, just as a side note - the bit about Chief seeing a rock monster in his youth comes from the game manual:

Scrolling in level menu too fast

This happens for me as well. It seems like the scrolling safe area is a lot smaller, as if you only have an area 200 pixels tall where you're allowed to move the mouse. I wonder if Cafeteria could help since you can use it to increase the game's resolution:

    The Damage Is Done!

Hey guys, so I recently updated my minifigure models to have a much improved rig. What this means is that I can do more fluid and a lot less robotic animations. With that said I just wanted to show you how cool one of my older animations look with the new rig! Oh oops... they seemed to have all broke.

Modding Tt LEGO Games: Beginner's Preparation/Setup

I have only access to files from the LEGO Worlds Early Access Update 5. I do not know if the format has changed again. I was able to extract mesh information from some ghg and gsc files. This was some time ago. If you are interested, I can look for the extraction tool.
