    The Pain of Powerups

I'm sorry but if you want a powerup you're gonna have to pay for it with a few bricks. So I found the following commands in the game's exe+memory and using Cheat Engine I replaced "hit a pickup" with "hit by cork screw" and got the above video. PIT SURFACE CONTACT HIT A PICKUP HIT A GOLDEN BRICK HIT A BONUS VORTEX PLAYER WANTS WEAPON PLAYER DEMANDS WEAPON PLAYER FIRES WEAPON HIT BY CORK SCREW HIT BY SLIZER HIT BY BLOODHOUND HIT A BONUS PICKUP HIT A RACER HIT AN ICE SPIKE There was also these server commands a little ways down: TEST SERVER and TESTNAME, but as most of us established already network was a scrapped feature, so kinda useless. If you want to mess with it yourself in Cheat Engine, search for any of these and you will get 2 results, the 2nd result which looks more like a list should be the one you need to replace.

Unused Camera Angles in Freeway Frenzy?

Normally when you hit the change camera button on Freeway Freenzy it toggles between the values 0 and 1, but if you give it some +1 nudges, well.... You can see the exact values I have set with Cheat Engine on the side.

    Most Violent Lego Theme

Oh god, I never noticed that. Reminded me of this, except a bit more horrifying (but still funny... in a horrible sorta way): Also, just remembered the pig that splatters into sausage pieces when it hits the ground, in the scene where they're falling onto the train in the wild west. Hah.

    Most Violent Lego Theme

In the attack on Cloud Cuckoo Land, a "relic" baseball rolls over a CMF Islander minifig, leaving a bunch of Islander-coloured tiles in its place. Also, yep, I already saw that draft, though I hadn't stopped to consider how brutal of a death that would be. I'm really glad TLM ended up how it did, rather than being too loyal to that first draft or anything.

    LRR Pictionary

    Thank you all for your patience, here is the FULL collection of produced images from yesterday's session. Please enjoy. (Also, for your convenience, I'm posting Someswedish's drawings again so you don't have to flip between this post and the last one) As usual, the contributions from this session come from Someswedish and me. "Most uninteresting animal to race with": "The next Sonic game": "The truth about Unicorns": "Don't press THAT button" "Animals doing things better than humans": "What is under Pepper's cap?": And finally, as a bonus for waiting patiently for me to post the complete session, here is the latest miss-adventure of no-one's favourite adventurer, Indiana Johns!;

I don't remember the first one, when/where was it? Also, the second one reminds me... First, if you haven't read through this yourself already but want to, do that: If you don't care about spoiling this early (and very different) version of the story, or you've already read it:

    LRR Pictionary

Welcome to week two (in a row) of LRR Pictionary! As usual, the players consist of Someswedish and myself. Admittedly, it'd be nice to have more people play, so if you ever want to spend an hour drawing silly things on the weekend, don't hesitate to ask. Now, when looking through these, you may notice that my drawings are missing. This was not planned. The scanner I used last time to get my pictures onto my computer is currently undergoing technical issues and as a result I can't use it until tomorrow. So expect a follow-up containing my stuff in the next 16 hours, I promise you won't be disappointed. "Most uninteresting animal to race with": "The next Sonic game": "The truth about unicorns" "Don't press THAT button" "Animals doing things better than humans": "What is under Pepper's Cap?"

Thank god you didn't make an innuendo about "interlocking pieces". Also, to anyone reading this, welcome to the "supposedly mature that isn't really mature" area of the site.

I swear every time I see the title I think Rocket League cars. Anyhow, it's cool to see these IRL, nice work!

Best way to deal with slimy slugs in 'Back to the basics'

Wait, crystals can't get drained if there's no Tool Store? That's interesting... It's best to move your base to the far north-east corner of the map, since there's a crystal cache out that way. Barricade yourself in with Teleport Pads if you must. I think there's only one slug hole nearby.

Best way to deal with slimy slugs in 'Back to the basics'

    1) lose the mission for the 183rd time and ragequit 2) uninstall the game and take out the disc 3) lose the disc in the back of a car and don't bother looking for it afterwards This method worked great for me. I suggest you try it.

Best way to deal with slimy slugs in 'Back to the basics'

I just micromanaged the hell out of my raiders, turning off auto-collecting crystals and having them set them down one by one by the power station. Then once I had enough I turned it back on and they threw them all in before the slugs could do much damage. basically what Ringtail did, but more needlessly complicated and difficult
