    Drawings + Requests

So, armed with a sketchbook, camera and a couple hours of free-time, I asked for drawing requests from RRU's "#general" chat, and rather than let my efforts go to waste in the dark depths of it, I thought I'd post the results here for you all to laugh or make fun of. Enjoy. "Lunala (Pokemon)" - Requested by Ace ...to be perfectly honest, I excepted I was going to screw this up really bad... but, err... apart from the slightly larger wing-span, it seems "alright". "Infomaniac with a huge moustache" - Requested by Someswedish "No help here..." - Requested by Ben24x7's social life

    Widescreen Hack + High Resolution

I struck gold in the youtube comments section. For years I've been looking for a "Beginner's Guide to Widescreen Hacking" and I finally found it. Youtube user AuToMaNiAk005 wrote a very nice explanation on how he hacks games. You should read the whole thing, paste it into a text file and keep it forever. I've tried hacking a few games with this information, but the only success I've had so far was with Lego Island 2. Like most widescreen hacks, it's not perfect. Some objects will disappear on the edges and the HUD is stretched. And sometimes you'll find weird stuff, like a Brickster-Bot that has been creeping in the main menu the entire time. This also solves another problem I've had: Every time I start the game it runs at 640 x 480. The game seems to always start with the lowest supported resolution. But if you replace every possible resolution with just the one you want, it will start up with that one instead. If anyone is interested, here are the offsets that I found: Both English Versions: - 640 at 0x529D, 480 at 0x52A4 - 800 at 0x52B2, 600 at 0x52B9 - 1024 at 0x52C7, 768 at 0x52CE - 1280 at 0x52DC, 1024 at 0x52E3 - FOV at 0xA495 Note that matching width and height values are 7 bytes apart. Two pairs of resolutions are 21 bytes apart (the difference between 640 location and the 800 location) Spanish Version: - 640 at 0x52FD, 480 at 0x5304 - (I didn't write down the rest. See the note above.) - FOV at 0xA765 I've updated the LI2 Mod Manager tool with a built-in custom resolution setting. (And built-in load time fix, and no intro videos hack.) So far it works with both English versions and a Spanish version. If it does not work for you, send me a message and I'll look into it. I want to make it compatible with every version.

    How's it going y'all?

Hi, I'm the overpoweredginger and I'm new. I'm also 21, I row boats and think ballroom dancing is pretty cool. I don't exactly remember how, but I got really interested in Rock Raiders again so I dusted off my old CD aaand it didn't work. I googled around, found this forum, and thought you all were pretty cool. Rock Raiders is pretty much my favorite Lego theme other than maybe the OG Bionicles, and I've been feeling the urge to start collecting them again. (Before anyone asks, I went through pretty much every fix I could find and nothing werks yet. I'll still hang around, though)

    LEGO Racers M4A Soundtrack

Hi everyone, recently I was curious to see if I could rip the music from my own PS1 copy of LEGO Racers and was successful, I have since converted the WAV files into Lossless Apple files and added the titles, album name, artists and artwork for each file. I have provided a link to download the album if there is anyone who wants it. https://mega.nz/#F!H4g1ADxJ!1C0wGlEOootJNI8AhH5Usg They have been put into a somewhat logical order as you would hear them playing the game, the songs that play as an alternative on different tracks are now named. When ripping these files I was very surprised at the quality, it is really good, and something more surprising is the very good but very odd sampling rate, they are all 37800Hz which is not a standard in any of the audio editing programs I have. The M4A files have been converted to the closest sample rate, that being the regular 44100Hz seen on most music.

This has been said many times before but there's no problem with bumping a topic if you actually have something worth posting. That goes for you fellas jumping on other members reviving topics, too.

    LEGO Racers M4A Soundtrack

I never worked on any Racers rips until what I'm doing just now so idk what that's about. and I definitely hear a difference, the PC music sounds muddier to me. Same as with IXS's 22k PS2 music vs 44k PC music (why did they lower the quality for that on the console that can handle bigger discs lmao)

Actually they can be converted without any problems/static with this tool: which is kind of just a wrapper that de-interleaves the stereo channels and feeds it into SoX, an audio converter.

    Darkflame Universe - Alpha Testing

Well I was in middle school when it came out, without the means to pay for a subscription, although I had been a beta tester. Now I'm in college and I'd be willing to pay to play it, so the fact that you guys are making it possible through any means is great news for me!

    Circuit Intro Shows Beta Track

While looking through the game files, I came to realize that the intros of the circuits use their own model set as a background, not the full track. I wanted to check them all and I found this. Now, you can see that it's not the retail track, but one that is actually the same as this old screenshot down left. -> beta -> retail (Beta track files are in here \LEGO\MENUDATA\CIRCUIT5\AATRACK) It would be incredible if someone could figure out a way how to replace it and make it align with the rest of the geometry, but that's probably too hard for now. Thank you for reading

I wasn't lying when I said that... I am working on a possible comic concept where a Rock Raider is used as a Sandwich Theif.

Xiron's Request(ish), "RR Chief vs. Lord Brevon"; I was attempting to draw Lord Brevon, but with a lack of a side-on image I couldn't visualise him in 3D, so I threw in the towel. Drill Master's Request, (Summerised) "Support Ststion Sandwich Line"; Because Paper doesn't allow Canvas resizing, I had to draw everything in the picture small which completly dropped the quality. Other than that, Enjoy!
