    IXS Widescreen Hack

After my success with Lego Island 2, I've decided to try making a widescreen hack for Xtreme Stunts. And I did...for the most part. I've gotten different aspect ratios and resolutions to work but it comes with an issue. The HUD doesn't scale properly. It's fine this way for the most part, but the PDA icon can get annoying and there will be two black boxes covering the screen during cutscenes. A work-around is to run the game at a default resolution and just use your monitor to stretch the image. But the image won't look as sharp. I would love to fix the HUD, but I have no idea where to start. If anyone here has any ideas, please let me know! Anyway, I made a small GUI program if you want to try this yourself. Download it here.

    HTML5 Rock Raiders Remake

Thank you for the encouragement I admittedly have not looked at the remake these past few weeks as I've been busy spending a well-needed break with my family, but I plan to pick back up where I left off soon. That means I'll be ironing out any remaining bugs when multiple building sites exist concurrently (this is crucial before I can roll out the power station update, due to the way it covers multiple spaces with a single building) and continuing to implement core features to bring more levels to a fully playable state (the dreaded Task system update still haunts me ).

    Loco Rf Tool V2.0

Ah yes, I'd personally love to be alerted to new emails by the horrified howl a toddler makes when they're grabbed by a giant hand from the sky Jokes aside, I'm not sure anybody's been looking at this game for a while. I'd like to see more done with it though.

  8. My feelings on this are pretty mixed. It's cool to see Kahuka and Vladek and f****ing Gilbert the Bad, and I'm really happy they were able to go with a woman as the protagonist - for like the first time in a lego game not aimed specifically at girls. That's a pretty big deal. The unique characters/worlds are also pretty cool, and I like how they take a lot of queues from the source material to maintain a sense of consistency with other branches of Lego (the city you start out in looks a lot like the Lego City from the commercials, the hills in Pirate world textured like the raised plate in Rock Island Refuge, etc.). What puts me off is how the game is set up for microtransactions, and the really strong parallels to Minifigures Online. I thought playing Minifigures was super boring, so from an actual gameplay standpoint, I'm pretty sure I'm not going to get a lot of mileage out of this game. I'll probably play it when/if it launches in the US, but when it comes down to it what is really going to be interesting to me is how they treat the world and specifically what they do with classic themes.
