tfw you share a texture with another NPC and must mime his face movements

The same bug is in IXS, between the portraits in the PDA for subquests and the actual NPCs... The PDA animates the faces of both versions of the NPC, and the one in the "real world" doesn't go back to a normal expression when the PDA one stops animating either.

    LEGO Instructions Database

From an old topic (now in the Pit of Doom), here's a list of some instruction-hosting sites I posted - might as well repost since the original topic is gone now: (As for why it was hidden - the topic was where somebody claimed to have an old, "rare" disc of "rare" instructions, which they were making a big deal of... Though all the "samples" they provided were just scans ripped from those sites... And the only reply the topic ever got was me pointing that out, hehe.)

Pepper Discovers Floating Point Precision Limitations

Epilepsy warning for the latter parts of these videos, maybe? Bonus clip where some Islanders explode and eventually turn into a polygonal mess: This isn't a flaw in the game, it happens in pretty much any 3D engine - most games just don't have worlds big enough to run into it, or use some tricks to avoid it (like periodically moving the player back to 0 0 0 and moving everything else with them, essentially re-centering the rest of the world around the player!). I only move stuff laterally in this video but you get fairly similar results moving vertically as well. If you don't get what's going on, here's a video that explains it. And if you wanna toy around with these menus yourself, this is the easiest way to enable them:

Reminds me of this video, which demonstrated a Gameshark code to play as Princess Peach in Super Mario 64. During the final cutscene, when NPC!Peach starts with her eyes closed and slowly opens them, player!Peach does the exact same thing. And then a reality-breaking paradox ensues, but that's probably not important.

oh, an old one: [5:35 PM] ProfessorBrickkeeper: why didn't @WillKirkby ever edit the code so there's a 1/500 chance an octopus spawns in the clouds -snip- [5:36 PM] WillKirkby: Dammit Jim, I'm a render programmer not a gameplay programmer
