Stunt Rally DVD-ROM With HQ Videos

I'm not sure if this is known but I spotted this DVD-ROM version of Stunt Rally on eBay recently and was curious as to why it was a DVD-ROM and not a CD-ROM so I bought it. It turns out it has a load of video content that features a behind the scenes look at the games development, the UK advert for the game, plus adverts for three different LEGOLAND theme parks as well as a Rock Raiders set/game advert. What I was really hoping to be on the disc turned out to indeed be present, there is a full PAL DVD quality version of the games 3D animated intro. It's 720 x 576 at 25fps which beats the hell out of the tiny 320 x 240 at 15fps version seen on start up. There are even snippets of Glacier's outro in the behind the scenes video in this same quality but sadly not all of the outro videos used throughout the game are present. The ones seen in game are however much better quality, they are 25fps and have much higher bit rate audio than the outros from a later re-release I have from Focus which came bundled with Island Xtreme Stunts, I have seen these higher quality outro videos in playthroughs so it's not surprising they are there, but this does tell us they for some reason skimped on the quality for the re-releases. Below are comparisons between the two, it seems they didn't render the final sequence with anti aliasing so there are some jaggies here and there but it's definitely not an upscale, there is way too much detail that can be seen. The pictures go AVI then DVD but then again it's rather obvious which is which, the DVD version does seem to have an overall different coloration to it and seems a bit green at times, I'm going to work on it to see if I can get the colors more consistent and match real element colors better.

Idleness Syndrome: What is the Root Cause?

Additional testing has also revealed interesting behavior that may relate to Cyrem's hypothesis about all raiders checking to see if they can perform a task. I made a 255x255 map with lots of 2x2 walls in a grid (I gave up after 10x10 and let the tunnels continue) and a 1x1 wall with 25 crystals on the opposite corner of the map to try to force the pathfinding algorithm to slow down. Nothing seemed out of the ordinary until I teleported the maximum number of raiders. Four of them contracted a strain of Idleness Syndrome where they would only react to move commands. They did not attempt to go after the crystals on the other side of the map. Instead, they caused the framerate to plummet, but only when they were standing around. The framerate recovered when the raiders were actively moving to a new location or when I teleported them out. I didn't tell them to manually pick up crystals to see if they would try, but it's interesting that the framerate dropped noticeably while the raiders were either attempting to find a path or a task.

    How minifigures see the world

Minifigures are poor defenceless creatures that only live to build. It's the one thing they know. They live in a world where the only places they can build are flat planes, which are few and far between. The horrible world they live in is filled with savage giants, completely disregarding the poor minifigures. They even move and destroy their creations that they've worked so hard on. But the only places that can provide them with building space are within the giants' fortresses. However, there are some giants that pay attention and empathise with the minifigure race. They provide a safe place to build and the bricks needed as well. The minifigures work with what they're given. Some nice giants are younger and less intelligent, and have a harder time catering to their minifigures. Others are wiser and help them greatly. But the other giants despise the outcasts. They attempt to take away and damage the minifigures' safe space. This makes space even more limited. But the nice giants grouped together and formed communities. The minifigures dubbed these "Afols". And the war for minifigure freedom continues. Conflict due to limited area arises in the safe spaces as well. Minifigures fight desperately, sometimes violently, for room to build, and even try to convince their giants to help them as well. But the giants guide the minifigures to make peace. This is the story of the minifigure. And it continues with you.

    Level Specific Mods

Hey guys! In this guide, I will explain how to make a mod affect only one level, not all of them. Let's take the drag box rgb as an example. First, locate your level's stats. Add your code to it. In this example, DragBoxRGB 000:000:255 Now, start up the level you modified. Blue drag box! Start a different level. The default drag box! As you can see, instead of adding this variable to a different part of the cfg, we placed it in a specific level's properties. Try it out for yourself! I believe it is also possible to modify the stats of a specific creature for that specific level even, that needs confirmation though.
