In case if you don't know where the files goes read this: All PLAYER *number* FACEs goest to: characters/heads/textures. All PLAYER *number* TORSO and PLAYER *number* LEGS goes to: characters/bodies/textures. All PLAYER*.MD2 goes to: characters/heads/models. All Col_*color* and **_visor, **_helmet goes to: common/textures. Sky boxes goes to: common/skybox. You can also rename files if you want replace different character or even AI racer. (Remember that only textures changes! So if you replace Sparky's textures with Jay's she will talk still males voice.) Remember to backup your files! They are RAR archives, get something like 7zip to extract them if you don't have it already.

A youtuber known as "Nick on Planet Ripple" did an interesting video on the subject Personally I prefer Rock Raiders but Power Miners is cool too and I appreciate Lego revisiting their older themes.

I followed the instructions but the "dgVoodoo DirectX Wrapper (display)" driver still isn't showing up. EDIT: Nvm I forgot to copy the MS folder contents to the installation directory. Game works fine now, thanks for the help.

The mod replaces Rocket Racer's body/face textures with modified versions of his textures from LEGO Racers 1, and replaces his head/helmet model with an altered version that uses two new textures and a new skybox (for his solid black visor). Can also replace player character models/textures if you rename the files (see the Veronica Voltage mod for example). Download Original post:

A really simple but very useful mod that gives you access to every car chassis and piece in the builder at any given time (even ones you can't normally use): In GAME DATA/OBJECTS/BRICKS, there's a file called UNIQUEBRICKS.TXT, which contains "All the bricks that can go in the game ever". Now, see UNIQUEBRICKSGENERIC.TXT? It lists "The generic bricks - available in all worlds". Simply overwrite it with a copy of UNIQUEBRICKS.TXT, and boom, every chassis and piece is accessible everywhere. Edit - There seem to be quite a few newcomers who don't know you have to unpack the game's GTC before doing any modding, so here's a link for that:

These are 100% custom. This overwrites smile head with orange hair, white racing helmet, blue jacket with star and red legs (don't put PLAYER FIVE LEGS.MIP if you don't want 2 green legs pair in your character builder). Replaces player model 7 by default (the female construction worker) but you can change the file names to fill whatever character slot you want. Shares a few files with the Classic Rocket Racer mod. Download
