    Sonic Blaster Crash Fix

Ladies and gentlemen, I've finally been able to rid Rock Raiders of one of the last big problems that's been plaguing it. As most of you know, the Sonic Blaster has a tendency to crash the game when running on newer versions of Windows. After numerous failed attempts to edit the original files to remove the problem, I've gotten it to work by recoding most of it from the ground up, using the dynamite assets as a base. (Don't worry, I've made sure that it's visually and functionally identical to the default Sonic Blaster) Anyway, with this, you should now be able to enjoy the ability to scare away slugs and monsters as originally intended. Maybe now we'll be able to do Back to Basics without toggling the power, eh? Download here.

High Quality LEGO Island Music - downloads!

As you may have heard, Lorin Nelson has got hold of cassettes of LEGO Island's music - meaning much better quality music than before. A lot of people have expressed interest in lossless downloads, so we put them up online! Link to music More will be add to the page when more is transferred and we get permission from some of the other artists. Some of my personal favorites like Brick by Brick and the park theme have already been included. We're also planning on making a tuned-up collection of the complete OST. We're doing some tweaks to the music since transferring analog tapes is never perfect, and brings some noise and off frequencies with it. Enjoy the tracks! (PS. Lots of lots of love and thanks to Lorin for this, he's done so much work transferring all these tapes!)

Game Crashes When Going To Adjust Controls

Quick Update: Seems it was Windows 98 Compatibility that broke it, as when I changed it to Windows XP SP3, the game works perfectly fine now. Why Windows 98 mode would not work, but XP SP3 mode does is beyond me. EDIT: Apparently, the crashing issue when changing controls isn't just something I was having. This place: https://pcgamingwiki.com/wiki/Lego_Racers seems to document that happening to others as well

Game Crashes When Going To Adjust Controls

First time I've ever heard of that happening. I wonder if it's something with the 1999 version and/or compatibility mode? Could give the 2001 version a shot if you have any way of getting it. Otherwise, maybe the game simply doesn't like a driver you have installed, or something along those lines.

Hey! Glad you liked them. Some of these tracks have been converted already. We’re working on getting permission from some of the artists and then will put them up there!

    Bring back the chat!

The Shoutbox was cool, don't get me wrong, but it was practically abandoned towards the end of its life. Discord had a massive gravitational pull, even before there was an official group, and it really is the bee's knees. I'm not sure what a revived Shoutbox would offer for anyone who's made more than ten posts. While I certainly wouldn't object if Cyrem were to re-implement it, I suspect it would largely serve as as sort of Help Desk for new members.

    LEGO Island Videos

Here is the first video Lorin produced! Captain Click..! Further info: As seen from the intro, this was produces at Flying Rhino and features Captain Click as baddie stealing bricks from under kid's beds. Wes has talked about this video, and it was a proposal for a TV series - but LEGO wasn't interested.
