Animation Inheriting

He does actually have a helmet, it's just on layer 1. Setting all `layers` to 0,1,5 ensures that the helmet is visible at all times. The animations I used are the Royal Guard, which appears to be what you used too. I think he should be compatible with any character that uses "old_blasterchar" animations, considering the Royal Guard uses "splat_old_blasterchar". As for the eye... yeah, I don't think there's really a fix for that. I had the idea of removing the eye model and texturing it directly onto his face, but was expecting there to be an issue with finding where on the texture I'd have to put it and if it would even be possible, or if the pixels would be too large. Neither of those were the problem. It appears that the Spaceman doesn't even use a texture for the yellow. It must be part of the material data or something. On the bright side, if you turn bsa_default on, he blinks (winks?) his eye, so... yay? He also lacks transparency in his legs. Instead of having actual holes, he just has textures to represent what the inside of the minifigure would look like, were holes to be placed there. He also lacks the peg on his head that every other character with a standard head has. I believe these all point to this character using a really old model, made and dropped before the decision was made to make models (mostly) accurate to real LEGO minifigures. One really interesting thing about the minifigure itself that I observed is, he doesn't appear to be in any official LEGO sets. He's not the Classic Spaceman, since his chest is too detailed and he has a visible visor, but no other Spaceman even has that spaceship logo on them, at least from what I could find through all the Astronaut variations on the wiki page. It appears to be a unique design made specifically for LSW1.2 points -
Animation Inheriting

I turned the incomplete Spaceman from inside LSW's game files into an actual playable character. This was accomplished by taking animation files from other characters and placing them into the Spaceman's folder. It took me quite a while to find the perfect character to copy files from because many of the animations files from others were incompatible with the Spaceman's bone structure I assume and resulted in the character looking quite funny to say the least. Although the Spaceman plays well, it is noticeably missing an eye and a helmet. Images:1 point -
LEGO Star Wars: The Complete Roster mod

When Han In Carbonite rides a vehicle, he goes into his reference pose, which for him is just standing perfectly upright. He remains like this when exiting the vehicle, and better yet, he's stuck in a falling state, so you can't tag partners until you change characters, die, or enter a new room. Getting stuck in a falling state after exiting a vehicle is an issue with all no_jump characters, and it can be seen much better in LSW2 with the glitch where anyone can ride a vehicle, or with the Skeleton since he can ride vehicles in that game. I just made Han In Carbonite a "variant:critter", like Womp Rats and other critters, so that he wouldn't be able to ride vehicles. Oh, right! I'll go ahead and do that then. I'll keep the Discord link as a backup, though I guess if this site goes down, you won't be seeing this post anyway, so the backup will become redundant for anyone getting the mod through here. But hey, you can never have too many backups! Haha, funny thing. You wanna know why the "Bonus" characters exist? Well, for whatever reason, COLLECTION.TXT is limited to 100 shop characters max. This actually ends up with 101 total characters in the shop, since Indiana Jones unlocks through "story" and as such isn't counted in the 100 character shop limit. To work around this, I had to somehow find a way to make a character unlock through story without them being physically present. I managed to figure that out, after a bit of diving into the scripts. Basically, each "Bonus" character (and the Anakin's Pods and Republic Gunships you unlock if you play the Original variant levels, since you actually play as LSW1 variants of those vehicles in those levels) is actually a playable character in that level's Story mode, but every area in that level has a PARTY.SCP (or some code added to the existing PARTY.SCP) that tells the game to only activate inactive characters in Story if they're not the Bonus character (i.e. Negotiations will activate all characters if the current mode is Freeplay. If it's not Freeplay, then it'll check "if IAm "BattleDroid_Pilot" == 0". If that statement is true, the character spawns.)1 point -
Skybox Error
Sunchipp reacted to aidenpons for a topic
I would try from the original files again and try to rebuild the skybox? Try doing something similar, but not exactly the same? Or try making no changes at all and just re-exporting the same file to overwrite: that'd let you know if your export settings were actually correct. I have minimal clue what skybox format LR2 needs but what format and shenanigans (there are multiple types of images with the same filename!) has tripped me up multiple times.1 point -
LEGO Star Wars: The Complete Roster mod

Wow, I didn't even know it was really possible to add this much functionality to the TT games: usually adding characters is a right nightmare. It's great that you've got something working! The only character I remember wanting to play was the generic Jedi in the Battle of Geonosis. There are already enough Padme, Luke, and Anakin variants that I don't hugely want to add any more (better than TLM's Emmet, though...) Wait, Kaminoans can dance if Special is held? ?Whaaaaaaa? Is that what makes them special? ? XD I never knew that was a thing Unfortunately I'm 85% of the way through my save and would like to finish it, so I'll have to pass on installing this for the moment One thing: using Discord as a file hosting service is extremely unreliable. This is why RRU has a Files database! Up top, just below the RRU logo, there's "Files Database" , or top right next to the notification icon there's "Create +" . Either of those will put the file on RRU where it'll be accessible for a significantly longer period of time (forever, at this rate ).1 point
