I'm really fond of this custom mars hover car. Rocket Racer's car has nothing on it. A modern sports car made with the Dino island set: Unfortunately I can't get too creative with the other sets (Arctic in particular). While the Xalax set also has access to the huge jet engines and the stylish windshield, the available chassis sadly don't fit very well.

I've been toying with the idea of re-creating Lego Racers (1 and 2) in Unreal Engine since I started working with it, I honestly think it'd go pretty quickly as landscapes, models and car mechanics all should be easily recreated with UE's engine. The only thing I haven't figured out completely is how building cars would work in a non-customized engine (it has to basically convert the pieces into a static mesh?). Car AI is also a bit finicky, but I've seen some tutorials of it. I would have to finish the Rock Raiders remake first though, one thing at a time lol so maybe next year

If we did have a Lego Racers 2 Remake, what would you change?

If they got rid of the voices and returned to expressive sounds they wouldn't need worry about casting voice actors all that much.
