    myturn.wav from Time Raiders plays Description: LavaSmoke MiscObject cfg property. LavaSmoke RGB property configurable on a level by level and biome by biome basis. DisplayLavaSmoke TRUE/FALSE configurable in same manner as RGB. Benefits: The texture path for the lava smoke miscobj is hardcoded, as is the presence of the smoke, and the rgb applied to the textures. Removing these limits allows for a new type of erosion liquid replacement for lava - such as acid - without the potential disparity with smoke and/or color. Examples: An acid biome with... acid in place of lava could utilize different smoke rgb. A hacky solution for water erosion (hint hint ) would be to disable lava smoke and replace the lava and erosion textures. Description: Interface elements on a level by level or biome by biome basis. CrystalRGB on a biome by biome basis (maybe redundant?) Benefits: Allows for potentially having buildings, vehicles, crystal colors, etc. show up on certain levels only. The interface elements for them at least. Examples: If I have the default crystal color as blue, but I have green and red crystals on several other levels respectively, I can have blue interface elements set as normal, but override them either on a level by level or biome by biome basis.

Let's see, if I can come up with something insightful on the spot to distract from my "perfect" timing^^: I still think that this is a cool project and I would probably do it again . With today's software and hardware that's easier to do than 10 years ago and makes you appreciate the effort that the people at DDI & LEGO put into designing the ship over 20 years ago. In regards to what I expected from making this thread/model and what actually happened the results are a bit all over the place: on one side I hoped that it would get featured on blogs and websites besides RRU and maybe even getting the attention from the LEGO Company itself, but that didn't really work out (I only remember two times, where the model was featured in a blog or video). Maybe I am too introverted and not annoying enough on social media to make the existence of this ship known to everyone XD. On the other side this thread has gotten a ton of views and replies over the last decade and people started to integrate the ship model into a game (like Manic Miners from baraklava) or game engine or make MOCs based on the digital models. Also a big thanks to Cyrem and Cirevam, because otherwise RRU wouldn't exist as a central hub for Rock Raiders related content.     Thanks Slimey Slug I'll note these as two separate features. As we've discussed these shouldn't be too hard todo. Gas causing acid liquid would work nicely with level Toxicity. CrystalRGB for levels is already added, however not the ui bmp, so thats an idea. This could be fleshed out a little with a CrystalTypes property block where you can set the rgb colours with level ui icon etc.

    Knightmare-athon ported to Mario Kart DS

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UF6pL0tk7TQ This is a direct port of the original Knightmare-athon model extracted from the game, ported into Mario Kart DS. The vertex colors are the same as they are in the original, although I had to manually assign the materials to each vertex as the .ply exporter tool does not support materials. I finished this port a while ago, but I had forgotten to post it here. You might notice that the UV's on the mountain material are misaligned, and this is due to the vertex offset limit of the DS. Because of this, I had to remap it, but everything besides that material is completely original. For clarity, it is possible to modify the checkpoints in Mario Kart DS, but I did not do so here as the course would never work on a real DS (the original course model is about 6000 tris when the limit of displayable tris onscreen at once is 2048 for the DS). The music is edited over the video, but thanks to the N64 using real-time sequences for the music, it is theoretically possible to actually port the original song over by extracting the samples and sequence from the game. (BTW, if this is in the wrong subforum, please move it, mods.)
