If you want to skip Erode Works, add the -programmer in the Target box of a shortcut to LegoRR.exe to enable debug keys, load Erode Works, then hit (Left Ctrl) + S to win the level. (This will also disable sound, load up another level and press S to re-enable it) Unfortunately, as I said above, there is nothing you can do to stop the crashing, but workarounds like this usually get somewhere. Try keeping your raider number low - I get good stability < 20 raiders... but even then I still get crashes.
