Well, it's been almost a year since I last reported progress on this diorama. And now, at last, it is finally complete! Check out the photos below. The images are all hi-res, and I've linked them to the fullscreen versions, so click on them to zoom in. My dad and I painted the terrain together. Thin acrylic paints were used on the modrock areas to seep into the recesses, and also apply varying degrees of shadow. Thicker paints were used on the smoother sections for a complete coverage. Two things I knew I had to have in this diorama are: Loads of Ogel's minions. There are loads in the comics, but you only get two with Ogel's base. I ordered more off Bricklink for a total of ten minions. Loads of evil orbs. Across all the sets, you only get a total of four - hardly enough for world domination. So I ordered some more, and now have four times as many! More in-depth photos are contained in the spoiler below (and there are quite a few of them). So, there you have it. What do you think?

It's a useless pile of s***. The f****ing thing won't work correctly on my sister's machine, and barely runs correctly on mine. The main problem on my sister's machine is that it keeps deleting the core .exe files. Java.exe, javaw.exe and a few others are constantly deleted anytime you try to run a Java app after installation. Putting copies of these files in the folder doesn't help, since it deletes them too. Completely cleaning my computer of everything Java related; every folder, registry entry, plugin, and looking for any trace of Oracle's bulls*** doesn't help, since on reinstall it does the EXACT. SAME. THING. It even does it for older installations. This is glorious. It's a monument to stupidity. However, the really piece of cake is this. I speak with all honesty when I say "thank you, Jamesster!" I have not played Flappy Bird, and so by way of Flappy Bricks I have been able to experience what all the fanfare and gnashing of teeth are about. I must say I rather enjoyed it. Being generally patient and slow to anger, I find losing myself in this game quite easy. It is remarkably simple and yet quite challenging and quite satisfying. I have actually reached a high score of 9. Now we need a Floppy Brick Sheep.

I agree. Better? Aidenpons, I agree about the accuracy of the set, but I am still glad they produced a kikanalo set in some way, even if incorrect. I was planning on finally finishing the Avohkii, but I couldn't find it, so I'll do it for next week, but I did finally start on the Toa Nuva masks beginning with the Miru Nuva,mask of Lewa Nuva. Lewa was my favorite Toa when I was a kid, but that mouth thing on the mask just psyches me out now (although I still like the overall appearance of this mask). It makes it look like its some demented green bunny with four ears that wants to kill me.
