sciguy
does blender have a guide? I'm sure there is one. If the prog doesn't have one, check the progs website. If there isn't one there, Google.
Sonic322
That would just be stupid if they made the program without a guide
Addictgamer
Hmm...I think i have some free modelling software, atleast i remember using something with an easier Gui for editing rr than milkshape and blender.

Cirevam
Telling people to get back on topic when you're not a mod isn't on topic either. Anywoz, one thing that really makes modeling programs easier is finding out what the hotkeys are so you don't have to keep navigating through all the stupid sub-menus and worry about the local jargon. I'm still finding hotkeys in Milkshape and I've been using it for four years now. When I played around with Maya a bit I was completely confused because I couldn't figure out how to select groups (or maybe it was just vertices), until I realized that they're not called groups, they're called components. Go figure.

You got something wrong there. It's if you don't include anything on-topic along with your request. Anonymouse
Extractor, yes. File>Import>Lightwave IDK if there's an export function yet though :(
Masterchief
Yes there is an export function. As I said on my blog the current working pipeline for me looks like this: 1. Import in Lightwave 2. Export as FBX or OBJ 3. Import as FBX or OBJ to your favorite modeling tool. 4. Export modded FBX or OBJ back to Lightwave. 5. Rearrange Skin in Lightwave (somthimes destroyed by the wrong options)

Masterchief
What is your favourite modeling tool ? 3ds max but I am also learning Maya for character design^^. And yours? And I believe Blender exports the textures well. Didn´t test it with blender, maybe right. Noticed that after the reimport from FBX the skin was messed up.
