TheDoctor Posted March 19, 2011 Share Posted March 19, 2011 A 64bit OS might be an issue, but if I remember correctly, Cirevam could install it fine on his brothers computer. I'm not sure. It's and old game and an old installer and wasn't designed for 64bit computers. I think though, like they say, compatability mode should get it to work right. UAC shouldn't matter if you can run it as admin, so don't bother with that. Do you get an autorun prompt/popup thing when you put the disk in? I think it was Karl said in the re-releases over time that they probably just updated the installer. So could it be that you have an early copy of RR and the installer for that one no longer works? If that is the case, I wonder if a newer setup.exe will be able to install it as I have ones from the so-called 'vista compatible' version. Mine had Lego Chess in addition to those. Anyway, I believe you have the original/masterpiece/whatever-it's-called version. That may be why you are having troubles installing RR.
