I tried to install LRR, but as i run "Setup.exe" nothing happened. The Task Manager says there is a Process running called "SETUP.exe*32", but why nothing happens?

A 64bit OS might be an issue, but if I remember correctly, Cirevam could install it fine on his brothers computer. I'm not sure. It's and old game and an old installer and wasn't designed for 64bit computers. I think though, like they say, compatability mode should get it to work right. UAC shouldn't matter if you can run it as admin, so don't bother with that. Do you get an autorun prompt/popup thing when you put the disk in?

I run 64bit Win 7. Installer worked fine for me. I remember... I think it was Karl said in the re-releases over time that they probably just updated the installer. So could it be that you have an early copy of RR and the installer for that one no longer works? If that is the case, I wonder if a newer setup.exe will be able to install it as I have ones from the so-called 'vista compatible' version.

I also run Win7 x64 and installed RR with no trouble. I'm not sure when I bought the game, so Idk if it's an original or an "updated" one. If the installer is the problem though, I see no reason why we can't send spakko a copy of our setup.exe.

I bought a set, include Lego Island, RR and Racer. And the RR won't work... Island work and Race i never tried.

Mine had Lego Chess in addition to those.

Anyway, I believe you have the original/masterpiece/whatever-it's-called version. That may be why you are having troubles installing RR.

Have you ever successfully installed RR with this disk on a different computer?

This is a tough one.

Tried running "autorun.exe" or whatever it's called? That might run the installation for you.

Some games have a "preinstalled" copy of the game on disk. Check if the RR disk has that.

If it does, copy the folder containing it onto your desktop or somewhere like that.
