Other years we've been there it's been quite dry around this time, but they had a cool winter so there were plenty of streams, flowers, and glaciers. It wasn't too hot either (particularly when we got a little bit of hail on mono pass). Piute pass and Duck Pass were my favorites this year; Mono Pass was had some pretty beautiful views too, particularly of Ruby Lake which really looks like a piece of sky sitting right there in the valley.
