apemax
Hello all. This was a test for a building technique i was trying out. So on with the pictures. And finally a picture of the internal structure which is fairly simple really. Now some renders of it. And thats it. hope you liked it.
Phoenyx
It reminds me of high-end model kits like the Warhammer 40,000 vehicles available from Citidel Miniatures, as well as the Ultimate Collector's series star destroyer. I would assume it's not as durable as the more traditional style, but it definitely allows for more complex details.
apemax
Thanks. It makes the model lighter but also makes it a bit weaker too. I've actually made a few other smaller space ships using a similar technique. I'll probably post them up at some point.
STUDZ
I like the building style you used there... But, could you make it Minifigure-scaled?
Lair
I like the building style you used there... But, could you make it Minifigure-scaled? And what exactly is wrong with this nice ship? It's perfectly fine at the scale it is.
