Hello all. This is my latest MOC. A prototype of a fully controllable aeroplane. It's has a working Rudder, working ailerons and working elevators. All controllable with the joystick and peddles. It also has a 4 cylinder engine connected to the propeller. It took me a while to figure out how to do all that stuff but with a bit of trial and error i got there.

Jebus Apemax, you're really starting to show off now...this is FANTASTIC! All you need to do is borrow some of the engine bits from an RC plane, and you'll have a complete, flying, LEGO airplane.

Keep posting this amazing works!

Thanks Extreme. :)

Unfortunately i'd need a bit more than a RC engine to get this to fly. But hey you never know, one day i might be able to make a LEGO aeroplane fly...

There's some complex engineering in there. You've earned a higher level of my respect, since the RC planes I fly aren't that complex.

Helicopters, on the other hand... If you ever get the chance I'd like to see a collective pitch helicopter, but I'm not holding you to anything.

Interesting that the related videos are all RC aircraft.

Edit: I took a closer look at the pictures... does the stick disengage from the elevator control when you move it side-to-side to control the ailerons?

And I'll be there to witness the moment you manage to get it to fly :)

Once again, this is another great piece from you. I love it!

Thanks. :)

I've just done a bit of quick research and a collective pitch helicopter is a intriguing idea. I might try that at some point.

No when the stick is as far right or left as it can be you can still control the elevator and the ailerons. The white 20 tooth bevel gear never loses contact with the gray 12 tooth bevel gear.
