So, upon digging through some old Lego things, searching on ebay, and looking on Brickset, I came across these....

Theres four of them, and they are listed as promotional sets for Lego Rock Raiders.

Apparently released in Japan.

Anyone got any ideas on if these are legit or not?

I've never heard of them....

Legowiki as well as Amazon have them listed, but I can't seem to find any real pics of the sets.

Thoughts?

I didn't even know this site had a wiki, My apologies for not doing more research....

I guess this is just another 4 sets to keep an eye out on ebay for, just to see if anything ever shows up....

I wonder how many of each where released?

Ebay is probably a bad idea. They go for a lot of money on there. A much cheaper thing to do would be to use the instructions on Peeron to see what parts each set needs, and then buy the individual parts from Bricklink. Trust me on this one.

Instructions are also on the wiki. Honestly they really are just a little promotion that store in Japan did, it's easier just to build them from RR pieces you already have.

There's also the

Of particular interest is the 1st one which is the only official release of the Chief minifigure.

Indeed. However, if you want the official stuff, all original and such, here it is. However, as you stated, they want a pretty penny for it....

Kabaya... I kept seeing them on bricklink. Mini sets in boxes in pairs of 4 with Japanese writing. Adventures and Insectoids also has them.
