Need a capture software for my Windows 98SE computer

Well,my windows 98 se computer is a success,that is good,but i want to be able to record my computer and upload videos. I don't have a capture card and the only good capture software I know of for windows 98 se,is hypercam 1.6,but there are no downloads on the net for it. Anyone know a good screen recording software for windows 98 se?

My god, that's hard to read... Nevermind, someone edited it to remove blue Comic Sans.

You don't need a capture card. Capture cards are used to record video from other sources (e.g: games consoles or camcorders).

Anyway, I found these:

2.23.02 This seems to be the last version supporting 98.

1.61.02

There's a dropdown list at the bottom of the page for other versions.

 

I don't know whether the downloads are linked to the right version or not, as I'm not running Windows.

Some older versions of HyperCam 2 work on Windows 98, as one friend of mine can attest to. Google around and see if you can find one.

 

There is also an old version of Fraps that works on 98, but as far as I know it does not record sound.

In hindsight, that would have been the most logical move, if I wasn't obsessed with Windows 98, at the time. Even then, that PC is long gone, and you're responding to a thread that shouldn't have been revived, in the first place.
