For those who don't understand, this is the opposite of what's actually true. No wait, Joe may be on to something. Only a stupid kid like Ash would give away his good Pokes (like sending his Butterfree off to die) and then start over completely when going to a new region. And somehow his level 90 Pikachu gets its tail handed to it by THE FIRST GYM LEADER in the new region. Ash is so lame. Red should be the main character because he's a man's man.
