You walk in and look for anything of interest. You find that this room extends to your right about 20 meters and there is this large glass window that slightly leans out as one of the rooms walls (the side you are facing). It appears this room overlooks something.

You look out the window... and see something so horrible you duck immediately.

Actually... You're just overreacting. This place racks the nerves, man.

You look again. Nothing special. Except from the fact you appear to be several meters high. The room you stand in seems to be the top level of wherever you are. There's nothing really down there that you can see. Not that the bad lighting below helps at all.

Robert asks if it's safe to come in.

"Yeah, come in..." You say.

The minute Robert steps through the door, everything goes dark. You open your mouth do ask, "Who turned out the lights?" and just have the air sucked out of your lungs. Then the light comes back on. Except it has a bluish tint and you hear a klaxon going off in the background. You hear people scurrying about on the other side of the closed doors.

You didn't close them.

And the door is whole.

PAST.

*gasp*

You hear someone on the other side shout something in another language. It is then followed by the sound of electricity discharging. Then comes gunfire.

You get up and walk towards the door.

A bullet suddenly flies through it and clips you in the shoulder.

And you start to bleed.

What.

You get low again. The bullet slowly works its way out of your shoulder.

You swear you just saw something moving outside the window.

You slowly crawl over to the window and peek into it. You see someone - or... something? - hanging from the ceiling. It appears to be a normal-sized person, but its skinn looks funny... scaled, almost? You look down, and see soldiers scurrying about below... it. One of them looks up... and the thing falls down on him. It tears the soldiers head clean off before he can scream longer than two seconds. It then swings its arm wide and knocks silly the remaining soldiers, knocking them into others. It then runs as fast as it can down the walkway, as the soldiers shoot after it.

The sounds outside the room stop. Robert quietly moves the table in the way of the door you came through.

The other door suddenly bursts open. Someone with a scar on his face and no hair on his head bursts through the door, panting heavily. He looks at you. You look at him.

Wait a sec. You know this guy. He's that guy who burst through the vent that one time and shot lightning everywhere.

BATTLE PLAN PLS

You whip out the gun you ganked off the skeleton and fire a few shots. This thing sounds like a toy. Oh well.

The shots connect and he fall back. Lightning arcs across where the bullets hit. You hear him swear. Robert does a wide flying swing at his head and he ducks, then blasts lightning in random directions. You both get hit and stagger back a few feet. You run out of ammo with the gun and toss it. Before you can get your 38 he fires lightning right at your face. The shot hits you in the chin and disperses across your jaw a little. Robert tries to attack again, but then everything goes dark.

When the lights come back, You are in the same room as before. Only, in the time you left it.

Both of you: "WTF?"

Try to think over what just happened.

Check body wounds if they are bad or still there. Then try to observe from the window again.

Both of you exchange a brief "WTF".

It seems obvious what just happened. You went back in time and got in a fight with that guy you fought earlier.

You check for wounds. You don't find any remaining bulletholes around, discolorations aside that is. You feel your face. Hey... it feels bumpier than normal.

You see no point to any of these tasks. Mostly because they aren't growing and the view out the window is the same as it was prior to the timejump.
