Complete Saga Modding character limit

Hello

I'm trying to make an 'ultimate' version of the Complete Saga by adding more characters and extra levels.

 

I've been modding the Complete Saga for a few weeks. I've been adding more characters by adding extra playable characters to each level in story mode. For example, adding in Ahsoka, the Mandalorian, and Jyn to the first level, Negotiations. This way, I don't have to unlock them in the Cantina menu, which has more limited spaces.

 

I've done this before. This time, however I'd make the characters, but only some of them would show up. All these characters have folders, and are backed up in the Level files, the collection and chars text files in CHARS, and the ENGLISH text file. I've made sure not to add too many characters to one level. Some levels (Death Star) have a lot of characters, so you can't add any more.

 

To illustrate what I'm saying

I was able to add 5 extra characters to level 3 episode 3, Grievous. Now I'm only able to add 2.

I don't know how this changed. I can't think of anything I've done which has made it so that I'm adding less characters now than I was able to.

 

Does anyone have any ideas to how I could have altered the character limit for levels?
