Very Bad News.

This node's graphics card has suffered a partial bearing failure. The fan has, to be more specific. The thing has loosened to the point that is resonates at idle, which is a very bad thing, I might point out. Even worse news: It's replacement is a RADEON that is on the lower end of the scale because it needed to brought back into service as soon as the cards could be swapped. A Mod About To Mod A Mod

The brick insists upon being a different color than the unrenforced texture, despite the fact that the RGB values are the same. Any idea as to why? The marble's white is not white either.

Computer Clicker

I made this today. I can't seem to get the scratch-clicks right though and it is a bit shallow. Computer_Clicker.wav (Stereo) I can't export this as a .mp3. I tried. Did get .ogg though (I uploaded it with the waveform). But RRU did not take it.

We Are At A Crossroads, Or At Least Will Be Coming To One Soon.

I am seeing a disturbing trend: The only OS family that will support LRR is getting more and more hostile to our favorite game with each generation. This means unless we do something, there will be no more modding as the computers that readily allow it die off. Cinematics

I think that there are some unexplored ways of modding LRR. I have not seen someone use the tutorial map for sounds other than Chief's voice nor have I seen someone try to use a monster class for an animation. The first is self explanatory and I have seen attempts at using other Chief files. The other is a little more difficult to grasp. I made these using Audacity. 40k has heard the first part. I think this is the first successful attempt at a piece. Evohummer2 has a little (and I do mean little added to it. Otherwise, they are the same. I chose waveforms because they are not lossy. If you listen to them, you will find out how they got their names.

This has promise. But I need to raise a bar first.

I was screwing with an old file that I got stuck on and this piece came out. My goal was to get something other than a track made of loops that loop though most of it. By that standard, I succeeded. Then again, Evo Hummer was also a success by that standard. What killed it was that I tried to get too fancy with it.
