Tracker Posted January 4, 2014 Share Posted January 4, 2014 Jim, MPM2 is needed for MPM2 skins to work reliably in SMP due to the way Noppes set it up. They way it used to work was all of the information was built into the skin. Now, model information is stored on the server and then copied to all clients that connect, so if I wanted to see James's model in person, we would have to join a server (likely mine) with the plugin, and if one of us changed our model, we would have to jump onto a server with the plugin for the other see the change. The time length still appears to be unchanged. Also, I can usually tell the time change is working because the sun/moon sometimes jumps back, or forward if fast, (a client side thing) to sync back with the Proper Time. No more griefing has occurred since I installed Grieflog and even if someone does abuse the server, I can find out who, ban them, and rollback to the previous backup. Backups are made daily and I currently have 3GB's worth going back through December. But thanks, anyway. I haven't actually installed it though because it required Forge - I may be completely wrong here, but doesn't Forge require client modification? 2) I figured as much. I'll take a look through the configurations of that, it certain looks handy. I was thinking of using a saddle as a parachute? And, seeing as we have a plugin installed to craft them, I could possibly make it get destroyed after use, that way it would still be like a normal item on Survival. I upgrade the server to Forge at some point to add this, but for the moment I'll leave it as-is what with UHC coming up, along with some other special things I have planned. EDIT: Also, Dynmap has had a new surface render added. The 3D surface map now has two rotations available so you can see the world from all angles. At least I don't think it does, as dropping into my plugin folder caused no problems and the commands are going through, but I'm seeing them like I do in SSP. I was doing so well as well, with a farm and all underground... It was by a stone mountain and a forest, with chickens and cows. I would like to join as well. Could you give everyone permission to use it to decorate their houses? (so long as they keep it appropriate, I don't know if you can track the links members use or not.) It was deliberately given only to me as an admin, simply because I wanted to stick the logo around the spawnpoint (and also for that other thing we discussed in PM). However, I've enabled it for everyone to use now. But if everyone starts spamming pictures everywhere I may have to disable it again, so please don't go placing too many of them, nor inappropriate content. Stuff your gma would be happy to see, mkay? By simple observations by looking at the sun, I can tell it works now. Yeah, it is long overdue for an update now.
