Terraform, my site, now has a domain name

http://terraform.getmyip.com Yes, I finally found a free domain name for my site. It redirects to my ip, which is dynamic, so I have to update the redirect whenever I connect to the internet. My pc isn't on all the time, and I am hosting from my pc, so, this site will be down often. New Game

Yes, I have made a new game. Well, I have to program one more thing and it is finished. I call it "Fun ai tests 1." It's a simple thing really, uploading tomorrow... OK, description: 2 stick figures. They walk around. They shoot randomly. They kill each other if they see each other. Yes, more of a simulation since you can only watch them fight.

A lost Data Raider has been found!

Well it's been a while. Been pissin' my mom of now and again (somehow), and of course she then sees fit to fiddle around with the permissions of my D drive, including the Data Raiders folder. Like, block it from me. SO. It was still there of course, but then snap-to does something stupid and I accidentally empty the D drive's recycling bin. Didn't even know it had one. Of course, the data raiders folder then appears to have no contents. So i start worrying. I still have the originally pm

Are tosti's unhealthy?

I was making tosti's today, and had myself wondering whether tosti's are as unhealthy as many people look at them. I mean, if you think about it, tosti's (or sandwitches) are 2 slices of bread, with butter, cheese and ham/salami (plus perhaps some ketchup too). That is in fact not much more than what you would normally have for lunch. At least I don't think heating them up means making them more unhealthy. What I mean to say is, I am now able to work on ORR again since the errors have been resolved What I need to do first and foremost is to organize the ORR forum and make a development plan. So, expect to see some updates in the following months.

Me...And my scientific interests...

I have a brain, ok? I use my brain, ok? I am captivated by science. More specifically, these fields: Astronomy, Physics, Chemistry, Robotics, Hardware Development, Artificial intelligence. I could go into detail in all of these fields, but that would take ages of typing text, so that is the general stuff. Hmm...I guess that's enough for tonight... I may make a large scientific rant tomorrow. If I get that mood.

One step closer to completing the engine

I just finished adding in the base building class. What does this mean? Just create a python (or lua) script that adds in a new building very easily. It's actually good for not just modders, but me too, because I don't have to recompile at every change now. Still can't get gcc to work, and msvc still gives errors.

Yes, I have reduced the errors a lot. I finally put together a makefile for windows too... This is good, since it makes compiling easier. Otherwise, I think I'll also embed lua...

GCC

SO after 2+ hours of searching, I downloaded and installed gcc. Now I am trying to compile virtual world and ORR with it. I will be doing a lot of googling over the net few days Anyways, it's late. I'm going to go hit the sack now.

Frustration with python.

I know that python is correctly embedded in ORR, but...I can't seem to include the libraries correctly. So, ORR hasn't compiled, at all, for a month already. This is a major hindrance for the progress of the project. I believe it is my compiler, since the only thing that fails is the linker. The code is just fine. Anyway, I have yet to install and try gcc...I don't want to use it though I wish they made an IDE for it...I should check to see if they did.

It was 60 degrees out today...

...I hope it lasts. I've been sick for a week now, and the only thing keeping me sane is my PC and the hope that I will get better and be able to go outside. Not only that, coughing hurts. And I still feel like I need to break a wall down or something. Also, for those of you who play BA and waste nukes: STOP WASTING NUKES ON T1 UNIT SPAM. There. Now, with that being said, let's all go outside and launch flares at moving freight trains for fun. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhrrrrrrrgh...I can't get over

Demos for voice work

Yep! I'm in need of Cyrem's voice VERY soon. Demos are open to ALL who have a mic. Just pm with DL link, Cirevam used rapid share. All you have to say is: "Yes, and they seem very prompt about figuring out who I was. After that little discussion they figured it best for me to radio here." or whatever else you want. It's not just for Cyrem, if you want to do voice for another character feel free to, just specify who it is.
