I dunno. Who did I miss that is not in the registration list in the OP? I haven't been checking.

I may not join the next round myself, I'm going to be rather busy in the upcoming weeks.

Because I'm being too much of a lazy butt to scroll a few posts up and see those join requests.

*adds*

Well, there is enough people for the next round.

So...who's narrating? And why is JJ on the narration queue?

Because he always has been. Since many many months ago when he was regularly active. I guess QP will be narrating.

Night One

The Sun, a radiant shade of pink, shone against the light orange canvas of the sky. A spacious smaller boat floated across the turquoise waters, before docking with the enormous, lavish, and yet elegant yacht, "Trepidation of the Spheres," belonging to the wealthy Englishman, Gerald Winsey.  Eight figures boarded climbed the rope ladder. Seven were the guests of Mr. Winsey, the last his Cantonese butler, Li H'sen Tzu.

Mr. Winsey, tall, rotund, with jet-black hair and a beard, greeted his old acquaintances: "Welcome, friends, to the 'Trepidation of the Spheres,' my home, and yours, for this next week! The redoubtable Mr. Tzu's task rendered him unable to prepare a dinner. Never fear! I may not be quite the cook he is, but I am no mean practitioner of the culinary arts! But ten minutes, and we shall all be feasting upon foie gras and drinking a fine, vintage 1881 sauvignon blanc. Believe me, this will be but the beginning of delights, culinary and otherwise!"

The dinner was enjoyed by all, and after a night of pleasant reminiscing, almost all retired to bed.  Almost all, for one among the passengers of the Trepidation had another task to attend to. The nature of this task soon became clear, when those in bed were awakened by a gunshot, coming from the general direction of Mr. Winsey's  bedroom.  Soon, all seven of Mr. Winsey's guests beheld a terrible sight: Mr. Winsey's cadaver, his throat slit from ear to ear, and the prone form of Mr. Tzu, bleeding profusely from a gunshot wound to his chest. Thanks to the combined medical knowledge of the guests, the bleeding was stopped and his death was averted. He awoke briefly, long enough to describe the cause of his injury: "I had gone to return Mr. Winsey his copy of the Great Gatsby, and had barely entered the room when someone, he must have hid when he heard me coming, fired at me. Thanks to you, I survived, though I know I shan't be out of bed for at least a week. Poor Mr. Winsey! I hope that his killer is brought to justice. Sic transit gloria mundi..." He then lapsed back into unconsciousness.

It was with much trepidation that most of the passengers returned to bed, knowing that a murderer was in their midst, and praying that they had seen the last death that week.

Night roles, send in your PMs.

Day One

The passengers of the Trepidation awoke to yet more distressing developments.

First among these was the death of yet another person, found bludgeoned to death in bed. MaelstromIslander was killed by the murderer, in his bedroom, with a candlestick. A quick perusal  of his body and belongings revealed that he had been a gumshoe. Thus died the Detective, unable to employ his keen penetration to solve this mystery.

If the latest murder had not made it quite clear, the discovery that yacht's engine was missing key components, the secondary boat was sunken, and all lifeboats likewise, confirmed that the murderer intended the deaths of all others aboard. Thus, whilst nervously eating breakfast, the remaining passengers decided upon a grave and desperate course of action: To avoid being killed, they must kill. Every day, from then on, they would vote on whom to kill. The unfortunate person with the most votes would be executed. If they succeeded in ridding themselves of the murderer, any deaths could be blamed upon him. Breakfast was quite long that morning, since, for at least one person, it would prove to be the last.

As with any round, the first day offers no clues as to who it may have been until the accusations begin to fly.

Until I've watched the proceedings for a bit, I have nothing to say except a word of advice to all participants: Watch. Listen. Pay close attention to who speaks up, when they speak and why. At the moment, we have nothing to go on, so throwing accusations out is not the best plan. Every accusation has a reason behind it, whether that reason is because they actually believe the accused to be guilty or they are just drawing suspicion away from themselves. As there is no reason to suspect anyone yet, all accusations must be assumed to be the latter for the time being.

That is all.

Fushigisaur is the murderer! Kill Fush!

I don't thirst for Fushi's blood, but yeah that was awfully suspicious.

To start the voting process I'm not going to say Fushigisaur. He's actually said something sensible.

I'm voting for BobaFett2 because throwing an accusation right at the start is kinda suspicious... admittedly that applies to me too, but I'm just frankly not trying to sit back and relax and start the voting process.
